Who or what is boxedfx?
Hi and welcome Boxedfx, or at least the range of web apps is the result of my javascript learning. Originally a hobby that I hope to turn into a source of income. All the web apps use the HTML5 canvas api. I developed the three user interfaces, and their variants, with user experience(UX) at the forefront. I wanted to provide as much functionality while also making the apps easy to use and keep them as intuitive as possible.
In a nutshell, a website developed by myself, David Glover, essentially a one man affair. While at this moment in time the focus is on variations of memes, I do hope to expand into photo editing and manipulation. Eventually providing services for internet marketers and social media enthusiasts.
Understanding the importance of visual effects in today’s world. I aim to push html canvas and my javascript skills to the limit.
About me
I have 4 wonderful children, 3 daughters and a son. unfortunately they have all developed the unerring ability to become attached to tossers and psychopaths.
Born in Yorkshire, UK, in 1960, since 2007 I have been living and teaching in Thailand. Having previously worked in the coal industry, machine joinery and security installations, I may just have room for one last career change. I have a Bsc (open science) which involved the study of natural sciences, health science, sustainable energy and sustainable design. Along with a City and Guilds in technical drawing.
